WARMINSTER, PENNSYLVANIA - Johannes H.John_ Bresser of Warminster, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA. He was 76.
Born in Indonesia, John immigrated to the United States from Holland on June 6, 1960 settling in Abington, PA. He was a resident of Hatboro, PA before moving to Warminster in 1985.
John was formerly employed as an automotive mechanic with Fowler Shinn Buick and Edwards Buick of Jenkintown, PA and Berrel Auto Repair of Willow Grove, PA, retiring in 2000 after 40 years in the automotive repair industry. He was a member of Doylestown United Methodist Church of Doylestown since 2000 and assisted with Habitat for Humanity. John enjoyed woodcarfting and made personal items for his family members.
He is the beloved husband of 50 years to Mary S. Bresser, devoted father of Robin (Diane) Bresser, Noelle (Paul) Black, dear brother of Sonja (Rob) Seghers of the Netherlands, loving grandfather of Nicholas and Jeremy Bresser, and Abigail Black.
Visitation will be held at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, August 25th from 9:30-11:00 am prior to the 11:00 am funeral service.
Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham Township, PA.
