Milton E. “Shorty” Bonsell, Fort Washington, died Friday, May 25, 2007. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth G. (Tomlinson) and the late Dorothy Kennedy; father of: Linda Zito, Edward, Nancy Salvetti and the late Stephen; devoted companion of Sue Wordinger; stepfather of: Cindy, Bill, Glen and Jill Kennedy; proud grandfather of: Lauren, Brittany, Holly, Matthew and Nichole; brother of: the late May Gingerich, the late Edward, the late Anna Jane Adams, Gerald of Tyrone and Richard of Louisville.

He graduated from Tyrone High School May 29, 1945. He was a member of the National Guard.

An experienced nurseryman with his own business, he also worked as grounds supervisor for Upper Dublin School District, Provident Life Insurance Co. and Montgomery County Parks.

His many loves included: fishing, hunting, dancing, playing cards and spending time with his dog, Bear.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen, Pa. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ambler. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be sent to Abington Memorial Hospital Hospice Care, 1200 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19002. Arrangements are by Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home Inc., Ambler. on 30 May 2007 at Tyrone, Blair County, PA, USA.²
